About me
Hi, I’m Eddie! I’m a marketing student at California State University San Marcos, based in San Diego County, with a passion for branding, storytelling, and digital culture. I’m interested in how brands develop their identities, how creative ideas become meaningful experiences, and what makes people feel connected to the content they see. For me, marketing brings together things I’ve always enjoyed: understanding people, exploring culture, and finding creative ways to communicate.
My interests in music, fashion, and design influence the way I approach my work. I’m drawn to the details that give a brand its personality, from its visual identity and tone of voice to the stories it chooses to tell. I love thinking about why a campaign catches my attention, what makes a magazine feel distinctive, or how an artist creates a world around their music. That curiosity shapes the kinds of projects I want to pursue and the perspective I bring to them.
I currently serve as Social Media Manager for Matcha Bloom, where I’m putting my interest in content and brand communication into practice. I enjoy the process of thinking about what an audience wants to see, how a brand can express itself, and how individual posts contribute to a bigger story. As I grow in this role, I’m developing my creative voice while learning how to connect ideas with clear marketing goals.
I also support marketing and business operations for my family’s business, Mundo’s Landscaping, which has served our community since 1998. Working on a business with that much history is personal to me. It gives me an opportunity to help communicate the care and hard work behind it while thinking about how we can reach new customers. It has also helped me see how closely marketing connects to the everyday realities of running a small business, including customer relationships, organization, and consistency.
My background in customer service and my work in CSUSM’s Financial Aid and Scholarships Office have shaped how I communicate with people. These experiences have taught me to listen carefully, adapt to different needs, and make information easier to understand. I bring that same attention to my creative work because understanding an audience starts with recognizing the people behind it.
Looking ahead, I’m especially interested in opportunities across fashion, music, editorial media, and lifestyle brands. I want to contribute to projects where thoughtful strategy supports a strong creative point of view, and where I can continue learning from people with different experiences and perspectives.
This portfolio is a collection of what I’m creating, exploring, and learning along the way. It reflects my interests, my developing skills, and my ambition to turn the things I care about into work that connects with others.

Liminal FM
Creator · Product, brand + build
Objective
Turn music discovery into a weekly ritual people share with friends: a few new songs every Friday, keep one, trade it, keep the receipt.
Process
Started as a mock campaign. I built the concept out into a full identity (the doorway logo, an iris-and-orchid palette, Lexend Exa, Hanken Grotesk and DM Mono), then designed and built the product: the Friday drop, pick and trade flows, shareable receipts, and profiles with earned badges.
Result
A live website at liminalfm.tech with sign-ups, invite links and a public profile for every listener. Goal: 50 listeners signed up by the first drop on Friday, Oct 2, 2026.

Objective
Give my dad's family business, caring for San Diego County yards since 1998, a brand and website that turn local homeowners into quote requests.
Process
Designed the identity: a sprout-over-hills logo, a six-green palette, Poppins and Inter. Wrote the site around Mundo's story, then built it mobile-first with a free-quote form, a text-your-request option, and a call / text / quote bar that stays on screen. Carried the brand onto business cards.
Result
A live website at mundoslandscaping.com and print-ready business cards, all in one consistent brand.

Objective
Grow Matcha Bloom, a student organization at CSU San Marcos, and get new and returning members to the first general body meeting of the 2026–27 school year.
Process
Plan and design the club's content on Instagram (@matchabloomcsusm). For GBM #1 I designed the announcement flyer: chunky matcha-green display type with a hand-lettered "Bloom," a checkerboard frame, an illustrated bowl and whisk, and the key details (date, time, room) set in badges so they read at a glance.
Result
A recognizable look for the club's feed, starting with GBM #1 on Oct. 2 at 2:30 PM in MARK 214.
